Exagan is led by a management team that is recognized for its track record in technology products, applications knowledge and dedicated customer support.
Frédéric Dupont is in charge of strategy, financials, customer relations and market development to position Exagan as an emerging leader in GaN-based electronics. Prior to co-founding the company, he was general manager of the Specialty Electronics Business Unit at Soitec, where he spent more than 15 years developing his expertise in compound semiconductors for the power IC, LED and RF markets. He successfully developed disruptive technologies and business solutions for Soitec by leveraging business opportunities, partnerships and technology. Mr. Dupont holds a material engineering degree from INSA Lyon and a business certificate from ESA Grenoble.
Fabrice Letertre is responsible for technology, product development and operations. Since 1985, he has been involved in GaN- and SiC-based technology development in power electronics and LEDs. Before co-founding Exagan, he served as director of corporate R&D at Soitec, launching and executing several strategic development partnerships involving SOI, LEDs and RF. With his extensive knowledge of materials, advanced technologies and processes, Mr. Letertre has successfully managed a wide range of projects and technical experts. He earned his engineering degree from INPG in France and has coauthored more than 60 patents.
With 25 years of experience in Finance Management of high-tech companies, Damien joined Exagan in 2015 and is in charge of finance and investor relation.
From 2002-2015, he served as CFO for two companies in the semiconductor industry: e2v semiconductors France and Tronics Microsystems.
Prior to that, Damien started his career at DELOITTE & TOUCHE, before working for Dell Computer where he held various management positions in European Business Finance. Damien holds a MBA from EM Grenoble and a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting.
Eric Moreau is responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) & Product Applications.
With more than 25 years in semiconductor industry at Motorola/Freescale, Eric served as Global Automotive Standard Products Business Development Manager, EMEA Product Definition and Applications Manager for the Analog, Mixed Signal and Power Product Division and more recently as Global Functional Safety Manager for the Analog and Sensor Group. As Leading the global Functional Safety Manager team, the ISO26262 certification on all applicable parts was obtained for ASIL-D Smart Power Analog solutions.
Eric was instrumental to introduce for the Automotive and Industrial markets, intelligent Smart Power Switches, Smart MosFET pre-drivers, diverse smart combination of low & high side drivers for actuators/motor controls, advanced System Basis Chip for safety critical micro-controllers.
Eric has a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from France’s Ecole Centrale de l’Electronique de Paris.
Pascal Guenard is an expert in CMOS technology with more than 10 years of experience working at INIFINEON/IBM Joint Venture in Corbeille (Altis Semiconductor) where he lead engineering activities, with new technology development (0,13µm), ramp up and transfer to different fabs.
He coupled this device expertise to GaN material physics, with 8 years spent at SOITEC as RD lead in material engineering development in the field of LEDs and PV application.
Pascal holds a PHD in material science from Joseph Fourier University and has been graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris. He has authored over 8 articles and has been granted 9 patents.
