Frédéric Dupont

Frédéric Dupont

President, CEO and Co-Founder

Frédéric Dupont co-founded the European high-technology start-up Exagan in 2014. As president and CEO, he leads the company’s efforts in developing emerging gallium-nitride (GaN)-based material solutions that will revolutionize power electronics for consumer, industrial and automotive markets. He began his career in strategic marketing at CEA-Leti, then later joined Soitec managing several programs in materials innovation for LED, radio-frequency (RF) and power-management applications. Afterwards, he managed Soitec’s Specialty Electronics Business Unit, serving customers throughout the U.S.A, Europe and Asia by manufacturing and selling compound-semiconductor epitaxial wafers for use in communication and automotive markets. Frédéric Dupont holds degrees in materials engineering from INSA Lyon and business management from ESA Grenoble.


Fabrice Letertre

Fabrice Letertre

COO and Co-Founder

Fabrice Letertre is in charge of technology, product development and operations. Since 1995, he has been involved in GaN- and SiC-based technology development in power electronics and LEDs. Before co-founding Exagan, he served as director of corporate R&D at Soitec, launching and executing several strategic development partnerships involving SOI, LEDs and RF. With his extensive knowledge of materials, advanced technologies and processes, Fabrice Letertre has successfully managed a wide range of projects and a staff of technical experts. He earned his engineering degree from INPG Grenoble and has co-authored more than 60 patents.


Damien Paccard

CFO

With 25 years of experience in Finance Management of high-tech companies, Damien Paccard joined Exagan in 2015 and is in charge of finance and investor relations. From 2002 to 2015, he served as CFO for two companies in the semiconductor industry, e2v semiconductors and Tronics Microsystems. Prior to that, Damien started his career at DELOITTE & TOUCHE, before working for Dell Computer in various executive management positions in finance. He holds an MBA from EM Grenoble and a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting.


Eric Moreau

Éric Moreau

Product & Application Director

Éric Moreau is responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Applications. With more than 25 years in the semiconductor industry at Motorola/Freescale, Éric served as Global Automotive Standard Products business development manager, EMEA Product Definition and Applications manager for the Analog, Mixed Signal and Power Product Division, and more recently as Global Functional Safety manager for the Analog and Sensor Group. As leader of the Global Functional Safety team, the ISO26262 certification was obtained on all applicable parts for ASIL-D Smart Power Analog solutions. Éric has a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from École Centrale de l'Électronique, Paris.
